The Center for Future Audiences Is Created

In keeping with the Musical Arts Association’s long-held vision to ensure that Cleveland’s Orchestra will be here for the next century and beyond for our entire community, the Center for Future Audiences was created in 2010 with the goal of having the youngest orchestra audiences in the country by the time of our centennial (2018).

Thanks to the creative, informed leadership of this Center, research, development, implementation, and measurement of new programs designed to achieve its ambitious goal have reached more than 250,000 new, young audience members!

Milton and Tamar Maltz Funding for the Center’s activities was launched with a lead gift pledged by Cleveland’s Maltz Family Foundation of the Jewish Federation.
