Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra Is Formed

Founded in 1986, the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra (COYO) has helped to develop and encourage the musical talents of young people from across the northeast Ohio region. More than 1500 young musicians have performed on the Severance Hall stage as members of this extraordinary ensemble. COYO is proud to have toured in both Europe and Asia.
