The new merchandise created by these popular local Cleveland businesses is available now at Severance Hall, The Cleveland Orchestra’s home, in retail kiosks throughout the building and in Opus Café — and on the Orchestra’s new retail website clevelandorchestrastore.com. The products can also be purchased directly from these partners at risingstarcoffee.com and at clevelandclothing.com.

“We are delighted that Rising Star Coffee and Cleveland Clothing Company are helping us celebrate the Orchestra’s Centennial,” said Ross Binnie, Chief Brand Officer of The Cleveland Orchestra. “The Cleveland Orchestra has always had deep roots in this community, and partnering with beloved local businesses is a great way to celebrate that connection.”

Rising Star Coffee – The Cleveland Orchestra Anniversary Blend
The new Rising Star coffee blend was specially crafted for The Cleveland Orchestra. It is a 100% Arabica blend of Colombian and Sumatran beans, is certified Kosher, and is roasted in Cleveland by Rising Star Coffee Roasters.

“We created this blend with the music of The Cleveland Orchestra in mind. The blend is bold, sweet, and lively, with a complex flavor that moves through many notes as you drink it,” said Rising Star Coffee Director, Brandon Riggs. “We are proud to celebrate the 100th season of an organization that has been, and continues to be a great ambassador for the Cleveland community.”

The Cleveland Orchestra Anniversary Blend from Rising Star Coffee is sold in whole bean 12 ounce bags and is available for a limited time.

About The Cleveland Orchestra
Now in its 100th Season in 2017-18 and the launch of its Second Century, The Cleveland Orchestra is undergoing a renaissance. Acknowledged as among the world’s best, its musicians, staff, board of directors, volunteers, and hometown are working together on a set of enhanced goals for the Orchestra’s Second Century – to develop the youngest audiences of any orchestra; to renew its focus on fully serving the communities where it performs through concerts, engagement, and music education; to continue its legendary musical excellence; to build on its tradition of community support and financial strength; and to move forward into the Orchestra’s next century with a commitment to diversified programming. Under the direction of Music Director Franz Welser-Möst, the New York Times declared Cleveland to be the “best American orchestra” for its virtuosity, elegance of sound, variety of color, and chamber-like cohesion. The Cleveland Orchestra divides its time each year across concert seasons at home in Cleveland’s Severance Hall and each summer at Blossom Music Center. Additional portions of the year are devoted to touring and to a series of innovative and intensive performance residencies. These include performances in Miami, a biennial residency at Vienna’s Musikverein, and appearances at Switzerland’s Lucerne Festival, New York’s Lincoln Center Festival, and Indiana University. About Cleveland Clothing Company
Cleveland Clothing Co. was founded in 2008 by two lifelong friends. One, a graphic designer, had always dreamed of starting a t-shirt company. The other, an entrepreneur, was looking for a fun new opportunity. One fateful night over some beers, chili, and burgers at one of their favorite spots, Whitey's in Richfield, Ohio, the guys decided to put their money where their mouth was and came up with a plan. They purchased a screen printing press, some blank t-shirts, and got to work on a couple of designs. Cleveland Clothing was born. With their clever and creative take on Cleveland culture combined with the use of social media as its main source of advertising, Cleveland Clothing has grown exponentially since 2008. With three store fronts (Downtown, Uptown, and Crocker Park) and an avid fan base of locals and tourists alike, Cleveland Clothing has become the brand of a city.
